Chickens are allowed in city limits. Roosters are prohibited per City Code 518.04 (c). 

• Chickens cannot run at large. Chickens must stay on the owner's property and cannot wander into other yards or neighborhoods (City Code 518.02)
• Chickens cannot create nuisance conditions such as offensive odors, unsanitary conditions or unreasonably loud or disturbing noises (City Code 518.04)
